Following in the same tradition as its older siblings, Stories fuses cocktail-swilling afternoons and all day brunching with a thought-provoking programme of cultural events and contemporary art. Lots of our team live around London Fields and it’s an area close to our hearts. We’ve worked closely with local creatives to ensure the space befits what the area needs; a daytime hub for freelancers, friends and mums to meet, eat and work as well as a cosy evening bolt-hole.
Mouth watering brunches are available all day and our homemade burger menu reigns supreme. Food is locally sourced wherever possible, with plenty of veggie and healthy options alongside more robust dishes like Huevos Rancheros. Drinks draw inspiration from New York, with spiked juices to make those daytime meetings slide on by. There’s a great selection of local and craft beers alongside some more popular favourites. Wines are simple, well-priced and tasty and great coffees made by trained baristas complete the drinks list.
The walls are brought to life with projected art installations and thought-provoking exhibitions like Chromotopia: Into the Spectral Nation, by London-based illustration, design and experimental screen printing collective Heretic. The Thinking and Drinking events programme has also really taken off here with lots of great input from local raconteurs.
Stories is a beautifully designed open and laid-back space. Light and airy during the day and cosy and intimate by night, it’s aimed at inspiring creativity through simplicity and friendliness. Come take a peek for yourself.
